OneXOne (Toby/Zoey)

He smiled and held her close, "A baby boy Buscus...I am so happy!"

He smiled and then kissed her cheek and sighed. He really was happy and he just couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.

"I'm so happy, too. A little boy...I don't even know what to say..."

The doctor grinned at them "Now, as I always have to ask-do you two have any questions?"

He looked at Zoey and then the doctor, "I don't...do you honey?"

He looked back down at Zoey and smiled.

"Uh, nope...don't think I do..." she smiled "Thanks for everything, doctor." and then they went home.

Time Jump!

Almost exactly four months later, Zoey was laying on the couch with both Apple and Gryphon resting by her feet. Babybuscus had been doing a lot of moving that day, and Zoey figured she knew what for-he was probably getting himself ready to be born.

Toby was just making sure that the nursery was all ready for the baby when it came into the world. He was super excited and so ready.

She attempted to sit up, but found her huge stomach was making the process difficult. Laughing, she called to Toby "Buscus, can you come help me please?!"

He heard her call and he quickly went to her and smiled, "What do you need honey? Haha...."

"Can you help me up? My stomach's in the way..." she laughed.

He smiled and nodded. He went over to her and grabbed her arm and helped her up gently.

He kissed her cheek, "Do you need something else?"

"I need to stand up to let Apple and Gryphon out-unless you'd be willing to do that for me."

"Oh...yeah I can do that...sorry. I was just making sure that the nursery was all ready for our little baby."

He then whistled to the dogs and opened the door for them to go out.

"Aw, well I'm sorry to disturb you-I'm just a little bit huge right now." she smiled "You can go back to whatever you were doing, if you'd like..."

"No, it's fine...I'm actually done...ahah...so you hungry or anything?"

He looked out the window at the dogs and smiled as they both played.

"Um..." she began to speak, but all of a sudden bent over grabbing her stomach "Ow!" her face remained pinched for several seconds, and then relaxed.

"So, not to worry anyone but I think that was a contraction..."

He looked at her, "Oh hell...we need to get you to the hospital. Now!"

He picked her up and took her to the car and then drove her to the hospital and rushed her in.

She was taken back immediately and given an epidural, which she was relieved to find took all the pain away. She was browsing Twitter on her phone at that moment, wondering if she should Tweet that she was in labor. Shrugging, she took a picture of the area she was in and Tweeted that with the caption 'guess what i'm doing?'

He laughed, "Really? You are doing that NOW of all times?"

He shook his head and smiled.

"You wanna recommend something better?" she laughed "I've got a lot of time to waste before I get anywhere. Hey, hop on Words With Friends and we'll get a game going."

The doctor came in the room at that moment "Alright, Miss Handler-we're going to just see how far you're dilated, okay? You may feel a slight pressure, but just relax..." and so she checked.

Toby held her hand and smiled. He didn't understand how she was so nonchalant about this right now...but he was very amused by this right now. He looked at the doctor and waited.

"Alrighty, you're about three centimeters dilated. We want you at about nine or ten before you start pushing, so you just hang out and I'll be back to check you in about an hour..." and she left.

"So," Zoey said to Toby, re-pursuing the subject "How about that Words With Friends game, eh?"

"You can't play words with friends if you aren't friends..." he laughed and nodded, "Fine fine...we can play."

She laughed hard, remembering his and Sean's skit "But we ARE friends. More than friends." she laughed "As long as you don't spell Quetzal, we're fine."

He laughed and shook his head, "I can't even...that was too much...haha...but a very pretty bird...I want one..."

"That skit is one of my favorite one's you've been in I think. Did you know that Guatemala's currency is also in quetzals? It plays a big part in their whole society-it's on their flag and stuff, too."

He laughed, "I have no idea...rambler."

He kissed her head, "And I want our baby now...I bet you do too...hmm..."
