OneXOne (Kensei/Takara)

"It's okay. I'm here now..." he stroked her hair and just held on to her. Suddenly, and quite out of character for him, he said "You can cry if you need to."

She was shocked that he said that and just knowing that, she stopped crying. She pulled away and wiped her eyes. She didn't want to look straight into his eyes...not now anyway.

"I'm sorry...you shouldn't have to save me right away as soon as we get back together..."

"I'll always be there to save you. No matter when, no matter why, and no matter how. I love you and that's that."

She leaned into him and sighed, still not looking at him, "Thank you...that's all I need to know..."

She looked down at her burnt arms and she sighed, "Great...they still sting..."

"Here. Let me take you back home and I'm sure I can help treat those for you-we have lots of medications and things...burn ointment, especially."

She sighed and nodded, going back to the warehouse with him. When she got there she smiled, just taking it all in.

"Still the same..."

"As always." he smiled and led her to the (bedroom) bathroom and began to sort through the medicine cabinet, taking out various items he figured he'd need.

She sighed and sat on the (dick) toilet and just looked at her wounds, then she began to play with them a little bit.

"Don't touch them, or you're going to get them infected." he ran a washcloth under some cool water and then began to put it on the burns "We have to cool them off before we can do anything...sorry if this hurts..."

She bit her lip and tensed up a bit, instinctively pulling away, "Ah..."

She tried not to pull away but she couldn't help it, "Sorry...damn I really have become a weakling..."

"Nah, not true. Burns hurt. I've been burned a couple of time and even I flinched-and you know that's saying a lot." he smiled "Okay, now they need to dry and then we can put on the burn ointment..."

She finally looked at him and smiled, "Since when did you become Doctor Kensei? And when did you become...sweeter than usual?"

"Ever since you got hurt." he replied, smiling a little. He took the burn ointment then and gently applied it, knowing this would soothe the pain very much.

She smiled and after he was done, she held his hand and got up, kissing him on his lips, holding his head and arm.

He kissed her for a moment but then gently pushed her back down "One more step left-bandages so that they won't get infected." smiling, he gently bandaged all the burns she had from big to small.

She smiled and just watched him, she was so lucky to have ONE guy in her life that loved her and took care of her. She felt a few tears slip from her eyes and she turned quickly and wiped them away, smiling a bit.

"Now..." he stood her back up and kissed her again, being careful of her injuries as he held her close to him.

She held him just like she did before he broke the kiss. She loved him so much and she was just so happy to be back in his arms. She felt safe and wanted and that was enough for her. She felt a few more tears going down her face, not tears of sadness but tears of happiness. She pulled away and went to wipe her tears away.

"I'm sorry...this is stupid of me..." she apologized.

He smiled and wiped her tears with his thumbs "Only a little bit, but I understand-you're just happy..."

She laughed softly once and looked at him, "You are the only guy in my life that has treated me with respect and...love..."

"That's what you deserve." he said, stroking her hair "And nothing less...I can't believe you haven't been treated like this all these years. I can't even imagine how anyone could ever hurt you..."

She leaned into his chest and sighed, just closing her eyes, "I love you Kensei...and after everything we have been through...I don't regret any of it...I would do it all over again if it got me back here with you."

"Ditto." he smirked devilishly and put her nose against his "Nah, but really-you're the first girl I've ever cared about this much and I want you to remember every single day just how much I love you."

She smiled and just looked at him, his eyes shown so brightly when he said that. She could feel the love just radiating off his body onto hers. (its his sperm! lol)

"Then I must be doing SOMETHING right." she smiled and kissed his nose.

(his nose against hers* I just saw that. xD)

"Heh, I suppose so. I love you so, so much Takara...(and I really want to get into your pants, but that's just as an afterthought.)"
