He laughed and nodded, winking at her, "I will hehe...and same to you...I will be right there anytime, anywhere and anyhow."

He just lay there, in pure ectasy and thinking about everything.

She settled down against his chest which she stroked idly while thinking. Why the hell was she so damn happy? This didn't mean shit...

Toby was happy as well...he didn't understand why. Besides that he got laid on New Years rather than a kiss...but...this was...almost another feeling...maybe not...who the hell knew at this point.

She looked at the clock on the bedside table "I should...probably get going now.  What about you?  What are you gonna do?"

"I should get home...my dog is probably worried about me...and when the fireworks go off...he might freak out slightly...I'm not sure...you need a ride home?"

She nodded "Yeah, considering I kinda came here with...well..." she sighed and got up. Grabbing her clothes off the floor she began to get dressed.

He nodded and got dressed as well and looked at her, "Well...of course if you need anything...don't be afraid to ask me...okay? I wouldn't mind doing stuff for you."

"Thanks, but I'm pretty "independent"-if that's what you'd call it." she looked back and saw him standing there still shirtless in only his pants. Liking the sight, she walked over and grabbed his waistband, pulling him into another deep and passionate kiss.

He smiled and held her in close, by her waist and kissed her, hard on the lips. He was happy to have her...even if it wasn't love...there was still something there between the two of them.

She pulled away and let him go a couple of seconds later "Ah, tempting me..."

He laughed and shook his head, "You...are tempting me...to be honest...anyway...we better go...before everyone leaves and they are drunk of their asses."

"Oh...yeah, I thought I felt my phone vibrating. I was driving home." she paused "What? Were you worried or something?"

"I...well...uhm...Yeah...I kind of was...I didn't hear from you for a few days and I thought maybe you didn't want to talk to me...and when you didn't answer your phone...I got worried and I called your sister and Sparrow..." he blushed sounding embarrassed.

"Yeah...I know so...I mean..." he stopped and shook his head.

He wanted to tell her but he felt like he couldn't...he was in love with her...maybe more so than he should have been. How to tell her?

"I'm sorry, I'm being ridiculous-of course I should have known this would never last forever. But I have you for now and that's all that matters..."

He sighed and stroked her hair and just looked at her. He wanted to tell her...so badly...but he just couldn't...maybe now was not the right time...or maybe it was and he was too scared to say anything.

She loved the way his fingers felt in her hair. There, staring into his big brown eyes she felt as though she could confess the world to him. Yet oddly, all the same, she could not make herself say anything.

He just looked at her and sighed slightly, "Should I stay or do you want me to go home?"

He didn't want to go home...he needed to tell her before he exploded inside. He loved her...a lot...and it was killing him.

"Don't go," she practically begged "I want you...I mean I want you to stay here.  With me.  Please don't go home..."

He sighed and nodded, "But...why did you chose me to...share this intimate moment with you? Not that I mind at all...I'm just curious is all."

She didn't respond and just held him, resting her head on his chest. She didn't know how to answer that question so she would simply pretend she hadn't heard it.

He sighed and just lay there, looking up at the ceiling. He didn't say anything...he just lay there and thinking...he kept quiet and just wondered to himself.

"I...I do..." she said quietly "I do need you. I need...I need someone. Anyone."

He looked at her and was worried now. He didn't know that she really did need him...but why? Was there a certain reason...or was she just one of those girls?

"I'm sorry...don't listen to me.  You're not like that, are you?  You'd never support me like that."
